Philippines Wushu Teams wins 2 Golds in SEA Games 2013
Th Philippine got their first silver medal followed by 2 gold medals and 1 bronze in the ongoing 27th SEA Games in Myanmar, all in one sport Wushu. The athletes or players who won the said competition were Jessie Aligaga and Denbert Arcita. They topped the 48- and 52-kilogram weight classes in wushu winning the first two gold medals.
Jessie Aligaga defeated Dasmantua Simbolon of Indonesia and Denbert Arcita defeated Phithak Paorkrathok of Thailand.
Evita Zamora lost to Thoi Hoa Nguyen of Vietnam in the 52-kilogram division winning silver medal.
Francisco Solis in the 56-kilogram category won Bronze medal.
